I slamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has resumed the hearing of National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) implementation case today.
The three-member bench comprising Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, and Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh heard the case.
In today’s hearing, the apex court seeks reply from the Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf over NRO implementation case which involves writing letter to re-open graft cases involving President Asif Ali Zardari.
The court also remarked that former Prime Minister was sentenced for not obeying the court, but now they hope new Prime Minister will follow court’s order and will write letter to Swiss authorities.
The hearing of NRO case had been adjourned till July 12.
On March 8, the court had directed former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to write a letter to Swiss authorities for reopening of graft cases against President Zardari.
But Gilani refused to write letter, stating that he could not write to Swiss government as the president enjoys immunity.
The apex court then declared former Prime Minister Gilani as disqualified in contempt of court for not following court’s order.
Court will also review the matter of beyond the rule appointment of Adnan Khwaja as Chairman OGDCL and Ahmad Riaz Sheikh as Additional Director FIA by the former Prime Minister Gilani.

SC is in hurry . i don’t know why? Is there something behind the SC,Judges or CJ ? Somebody wants to smash the Parliament & executive.
I am amazed at the patience of SC, more than 4 years and 1 decision cannot be implemented
I think Raja ji don’t know how to write a letter, then SC have write it itself.
Can not we tell this court “aor bi gham hain zamany mi muhabbat ka sewa”. Such an obsession with NRO and in NRO with only one case speaks volumes that SC is doing injustice to justice. Let the Zardaris be condemned and ditched by the people who brought them in the first place. Why are we all intent on giving them a new lease of political life. Are we all zardaris now?
Those who talk about democracy must understand that there is no known concept of democracy without the rule of law.
The PPP government does not follow the spirit of the Constitution. Supreme Court, not Zardari and his cohorts, are the only institution that has the authority to interpret and make judgments regarding the Constitution.
Constitution is the ultimate law that binds the nation (or the federation). Even the Parliament is “subservient” to the edicts of the Constitution. This point is missed , including the Sell-out-in-Chief, Mr. Aitezaz Ahsan.
The ultimate tragedy is that we as citizens of Pakistan do not understand and realize that Constitution is the document that protect *us (the people)* from the transgressions of the rulers. Constitution is the only law that limits the authority of those who *we* give the ultimate power to make laws to govern us.
Kaira is basically misguiding us like a Devil incarnate. He is a lying bastard and lowest form of life.
For example, what if the sitting in the current Parliament pass a law tomorrow, making it legal for all MNAs to rape any woman on the street and enjoy complete immunity.
It is only the Supreme Court and the overarching legal protections enshrined in the Constitution that would ensure that such a law would be thrown out as unconstitutional. Know this point. Constitution is Supreme NOT the Parliament. The Parliamentarians are conniving and colluding everyday, taking hard earned money of Pakistani tax payers and using it for personal benefit, and not passing a single law to improve our living conditions. These are the worst form of life on the planet. Only the Constitution protects us from them. Otherwise, if left to their own desires, they will be screwing your mothers, daughters and sisters on the street with completely impunity.
That is why, when anyone takes the oath of office, the oath is to protect and defend the Constitution of the state, because the essence of the statehood is enshrined within the Constitution. There is no state without the Constitution. Simply a democratic state without its constituting law — the Constitution — is not practical or possible.
I hope we understand it. Nations whose Constitution was written after their creation tend not to miss this very critical point. And are easily misled by unscrupulous people like the (entire) PPP’s Kaira.
Defend the Constitution, that is how you ultimately protect and safeguard Pakistan and democracy within.
If you think you have “aur bhi ghum”, ask the Palestinians who do not have a state to call their home. And see how your “ghum” will multiply.
PLEASE don’t be fooled or mislet into thinking that there is anything else that is more important than the Constitution.
Ab aey ga na maza… Rent a letter……..
Raja jee zara deray chaloo.. swiss letter khara tere agay
Gujar Khan is not far from SC v/s Multan. Multan ka Fakeer setteled in President House, u have to return Gujar Khan if not implement orders of SC before end of July.
Dama Dam Musst Kalander.
PPP, Zardari and his cohorts of pimps and bastards are basically making a mockery of the Constitution and Supreme Court of Pakistan.
