K arachi: The discussion and considerations are being held among political bigwigs of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for handing over the Sindh province’s Home Ministry to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
According to a media report, names of Raza Haroon and Syed Sardar Ahmed are taken into deliberation for the Sindh home minister.
Earlier, Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan was removed from his office for ‘reasons other than political’. He, however, refused to accept another portfolio in the provincial cabinet.
Presently, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah holds the post until a suitable replacement can be found.
There were also news in media that MQM has traded their votes of confidence for Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf in exchange of the Home Ministry.
