I seriously think, that Pakistan is not ready for democracy. Democracy can only work if the people are educated and know what is the difference between right and wrong, not judge or vote, because the person who they elect is one of them (no matter, right or wrong).
With the system that we have and with the ratio of illiteracy, I am afraid the same people will get elected, as our 10% said “Come what may”. they are always going to be in the parliament. I m not loosing hope, because the night is darkest before the dawn.

There isn’t any residue of democracy in our political system. Shortly, a “so called” dictator chose his PM, even from outside the parliament and later, the person (Short-cut Aziz) was elected as PM. Now, “so called” democratic President chose a person as PM and yesterday, we witnessed another worse day in our recent history. I personally believe, our system carries gross violations as per standard democratic system. This dirty system cannot give us any fruit. We can never even touch the stone of prosperity with this system. Elections, if, will continue for another 1000 years, more zardaris/sharif/Choudherys will rule us. Media should play its role to change the existing system.
Democracy without intellegent voters is a perfect recipe for disaster. Those who have known this for hundreds of years are the ones pushing for it and glorifying it through their agents in the Paksitani Media. TALAT PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT (MAKE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND IT).

Start preparations for the finals. Buy ropes and put them in each tree and street light of Islamabad, Rawalpindi. Hang these rats of Jumorhiat with their democracy for ever. This is the bottom line.
The real problem of our country is lack of Nationalism,we are still predominantly a tribal society in which protection of personal and tribal interests is the primary motive irrespective any concept of morality.We are still unable to develop a nationalism even in our urban areas.I think this is least important that who is ruling us whether it is Zardari,Gillani or Raja Rental,,the important question is whether we have succeeded to change the thinking at grass root level or not?Whether are able to develop nationalism at grass root level?
We need to change this typical tribal society divide otherwise get ready for more Zardaries ,,,Gillanies and Raja Rentals for many more coming years because every political party is full of such type of stuff,they might have different names but their agenda is same.
If think that Govt and its institutions will work to develop the nationalism and sense of collective thinking,,,it will never ever be done because this typical tribal thinking and tribal divide has been institutionalized now.
