well Gillani would be remembered in the history of Pakistan…he even deserves more credit than Musharaf…Its been four years and Musharaf can not return back to country so will Gillani…but we have his gift Abdulqadir gillani and Mousa….i hope zardari is not going to play with their cases as gillani used to…but you never know , anything is expected from zardari…he is ‘EVIL GENIUS’..

actually in Urdu – Zardari means “paison(money) ka poojari(worshipper)” – “zar” for money and dari for worshipper.
I will keep going back to 2008 elections. these “democratic parties” to part in the elections under a dictator and with the Chief Justice under house arrest. What did the nation expect of this “democracy”. It is clearly visible that these parties were power hungry and seized any opportunity that came their way (and brokered by US and Saudi Arabia). I hope the nation has realised this – and for future first fight (yes WE have to make this effort for future generations) for independent institutions (Court, Police, Accountability and Election Commission) and then have whatever party to come democratically, because unless we have watchdogs over them, this story will continue everytime – because they would NOT! and I repeat THEY WOULD NOT! and we should not expect them to put any system in place which can make them accountable.

Very nice and pertinent to facts on the ground. However, if you read what journalists like Declan Walsh (Pakistani liberatti’s favorite) are writing in New York Times about the events unfolding in Islamabad, you would think the villain was the Chief Justice, who has gone wild with ‘judicial activism’ and has a personal vendetta against the PPP, especially Asif Ali Zardari.
Feeding him such tripe are the great human rights activists like, Asma Jahangir, dubious foreign-funded Jinnah Institute know-it-alls Raza Rumi and the Canadian export, Mobashar Zaidi, etc.
Thank God, we have analysts like Talat Hussain, who, without fear or favor, can set the record straight and tell it like it is. With all of these two-faced villains and their malicious obfuscation of the truth are busy spreading darkness and despair by design, even one ray of light is enough to guide the way.
Be mature and start respecting others opinion rather than branding them dubious.
Some of them are contributing for freedom since many of us were child, so be careful in passing judgements.
I am sorry, but people who disagree with the Two-Nation Theory and support India and it’s interests over that of Pakistan, are no friends of mine.

A couple of years back, learned supporters of PPP would say, ” these feudals have to stay here, their lands, properties, estates are in Pakistan, so it doesn’t fall in place that these rulers can survive with so much corruption allegations, they have to contest in next elections as well…” But now it feels, these feudals haves amassed so much wealth, obviously beyond their means and looted via kickbacks and bought VVIP penthouses and estates in gulf and west, that their local properties seem more like an added advantage or bonus.. Gillani’s family has already been moved to London.

I’ve become so pessimistic about Pakistan that it surprises me. There was time when I used to fight people over the pessimism and negative attitude about Pakistan. Now I’m one of them! Sigh! Talat Sahab people will vote for these thugs again and again and again. Just read few comments of jiyalas above and it reinforced my opinion about my countrymen that they deserve what they are getting because they are the main problem. They are the “dheet” ones. They just want to vote for thier parties without even thinking about thier competence. I’m so disappointed in Pakistani nation that I don’t have words for it. I hope Allah give us a hidayaat and we elect honest people this time. This is our last chance, we don’t have the option to loose it, because this will be a point of no return for us.
