have heard a lot of people say – the awams real issue are – electricity, inflation and lack of jobs.

But i strongly disagree, because all of the issues Pakistan is facing right now can be narrowed to one root cause, and for me, Pakistan’s root problem is fairness (why i chose “fair” instead of “equal” although my objective is the same is because even Allah says that He would judge a person with accordance to his/her capacity – the more He has given you – the more responsibility on you). fair distribution of wealth and resources, fair justice, fair opportunity in both education and jobs, fair protection of rights.

This is why we should stand for justice and rights for all citizen. Today Pakistan is skewed towards elite. Where they rule us and even twist resources and law for themselves. We see a pyramid structure. Where the few are right at the top – and masses right at the bottom.

What we are facing is truly a “Shaitani Azab” because we as a nation preferred to go into elections in 2008 when our Chief Justice was under house arrest. We believed in democracy when one of the most fundamental pillar of society was down. We surely deserved this kind of democracy for the elites.

When people are going to damage their homes and cars, they would replace it on immediate basis from government funds which are unavailable for people welfare.Along with more dark hours for public this government doesn’t miss the chance of increasing defense budget 12% than last years.
The simple ruling formula of Pakistan politics you keep me happy= I make you happy. So they all are happy except 18 million people of Pakistan.

When I asked few people I know from lower middle class and lower class, they told that they will again vote for these same thugs. Some gave the excuse that they are from their ethnicity, they cant do “ghadari” with it, some were die hard supporters… So its a Pakistani public who wants this whats been happening to them…

The “Jamhooriyat” gang that Talat Hussain referred to, is indeed very active on social media. They rubbish the miseries and those who dare to report on them. Sub theek hai, is their mantra. Just last night, the PM in his speech said that his Govt, PPP, had accomplished important economic successes in his tenure. Diwaliyapun, one of them ?.

It’s a pity that the poor and oppressed masses cannot communicate their miseries with as much conviction and confidence, as the tyrants and their tiny band of sycophants can obfuscate and shift blame.

But let’s not lose hope. This unflappable minority that seems so entrenched and in control, will drop everything and run for their lives, once the masses, armed with sticks and stones, stop destroying each others’ properties and instead, march towards their palatial mansions.

nomi, the solution is very simple. If you have belief in Allah and that He rewards for those on “haq”. Stand for justice (and im not saying Supreme Court and CJ – but justice) and have patience, these wars are not won in a day, a month or an year. but if we stand for “right” especially the weak, you will see how things start turning in your favor.

Althu it might sound like a fairy tale, but the recent exposed “fixed interview” might be Allahs way of supporting and balancing the fight between right and wrong, and might even help in removing these influence of these elements.

Talat I’ve been tweeting abuses on @cmshehbaz and gilani co. hoping they’d do something abt loadshedding but now I’m sure they really can’t do a thing abt it.

Country, patriotism, God, religion, democracy, justice, media we’re only good at chanting these slogans. if we kept doing this then I’m sure next generation would hardly know what their true meanings are.

because I personally feel there is no hope now unless some alien take over this land and provide us un-interpreted energy and just for the record if this really happens i’ll be the one standing at the aliens side. Power supply is my only nationality now.

Running a country for everyone’s good is too big and complicated job for ppl who are outlaws, ignorant and jahil and full of nepotism where merit was killed decades ago. No country can run like that forever. but these are pretty much the doomsdays of my life.

        Agreed.
I would say don’t be despair, don’t loose your hope. Its you who letted them to do what they do. its you who has to decide either stop them or leave the battle field and accept them as master. if we all collectively decide to get rid of nepotism, we can, so lets unite and support good people in our capability.
we have to change it and we must do it in our deeds. I accept our society has become inhuman, yet I still hope, there are some good people, who stand for the RIGHT, fight for the RIGHT and I believe, in the end TRUTH wins and will win in our society. I also accept, its very much difficult to tolerate what’s happening, but we must accept that everything has some specific time, everything happens at some correct and right TIME.

      Dear Talat,
      Appreciated!!!
The problem isn’t in these STUBBORN creatures, instead it’s within us. It’s we who have tolerated them and have letted them to do what they do. Since their only role is what they do (i.e. Looting, looting and looting), so why they feel ashamed? They do it and I would say in a very organized way.
We are cheap so cheap and silly creatures rule us. we feel happy and enjoy just by criticizing; if you ask people to contribute your part in good work, I guess, very few people will respond. Nothing is gonna change, until we aren’t changed, until our thinking isn’t changed, until our actions aren’t changed, until our attitude isn’t changed.

Ahmad, I think we should stop comparing and benchmarking other province. My major job responsibility is marketing analysis, and i would be more interested in comparing my current products performance periodically (quarterly, annually, etc) than comparing to other products. And why do you want to benchmark against the worst? You will only go down further in your performance, and still chest beat – we are the best against the other province.

Punjab has 60% of the population, more resources (agriculture, history of industrialisation, top universities, etc) so for better understanding we need to compare Punjab based on:
      1990-1995 vs. 1996-2001 vs. 2002-2007 vs. 2008-2012

and surely Punjab has gone worst in health (never has Lahore has had so many deaths due to epidemics Dengue & PIMS Drugs), Education (wrong Intermediate results) Job Creation, Development projects and Law & Order (Punjab Police violence victims are immense and again yesterday there was another “Police muqabala victims” which are quite regular in Punjab)

All i would request from youth is to make the right analysis and compare apples with apples, and stop we are best versus other provinces. Punjab, historically has always performed better than other provinces.

Talat Hussain, I must say that a true picture of present Pakistan has been painted in this article . You have explained in very simple and clear language what the people of Pakistan are going through and God Knows how much misery is left to be faced by the Pakistanis through the hands of their own leaders. Is there a solution to our problems or will we continue to live our lives the same way?

Jaisi Qoum, wesay hukamran…! If you want to change your leaders,,, then change the habits of your nation. The reluctancy which is beenig shown by our leaders is also our national habit
