I slamabad: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has turned all cannons towards Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s chief Nawaz Sharif, putting on him the charges of money laundering and corruption.
“Nawaz Sharif and his brother Shehbaz Sharif hold money in ten different Swiss banks.” Malik told media in a press conference here on Saturday.
He said ‘hang me’ if any of these allegations are proved to be wrong.
When asked that why is he bringing up these allegations at this time, rehman Malik replied that during Benazir’s second term General Amjad of National Accountability Bureau asked for my assistance against Sharif brothers but Benzair refused to do so.
He further said that Shehbaz Sharif was declared defaulter by High Court of Queen’s bench London. Nawaz Sharif was also the defaulter of 6 billion rupees of different banks. ‘They are not honest therefore cannot be in politics,’ Malik added.
‘Fearing the investigations Nawaz Sharif signed first NRO with Farooq Laghari and second NRO then with Musharaf,’ said Rehman Malik.
When asked will you be taking this matter in court he replied ‘I can investigate this matter through Federal Investigation Agency but I am sending it to NAB and I will take the matter to parliament and courts as well.’
Senator Pervez Rahshid of PML-N, while speaking to saach.tv, said that ‘it is PPP’s common practice to throw mud at others after every judgment which comes against their black deeds.’
‘Had there been any solid grounds in these so-called cases then Musharaf would have used them too,’ Pervez Rashid added.
He also said that if Rehman Malik is so obedient to Benazir that he never cooperated with NAB against PML-N leaders then why they did not accept Iftikhar Chaoudhery as Chief Justice despite the fact that Benzair had accepted him.
PPP is afraid of us and people of Pakistan and in reaction they are behaving irrationally. ‘Press conferences cannot determine the fates if someone is convicted by the Supreme Court,’ Pervez added.
Pervez Rashid refuted all the allegations presented by Rehman Maliks saying that if these allegations are true then Rehman Malik has committed crime as he kept this information to himself for twenty years.
what is the credibility of this man and he himself is criminal to not expose this for 20 years.
Rehman malik should take or pass any evidence he has against anybody to courts to take any further action,whether that is guilty or innocence.His job is not of a judge and he should not pretend to be one.

If Rehman Malik is not lying (defying his reputation), he/his government has committed double crime: by not acting against the reported crimes and using it as bargaining chip/blackmailing tool.
