I slamabad: United States special envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Marc Grossman will arrive in Islamabad today.
According to the media reports, Marc Grossman would hold meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yusaf Raza Gillani, Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani , Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and other top officials of the country during his visit after Salala incident.
Pak – US relations including Parliamentary Committee on Security (PCNS) recommendations regarding Nato supply resumption, drone attack would be discussed during the meetings.
The sources also claimed that US has decided to geared up diplomatic contact with Pakistan following parliamentary committee recommendation on foreign policy and security issues.
Pakistan’s officials had already conveyed a strong message to Washington that until seeking apology on Salala check post, Pakistan would not proceed further in term of Pak-US relation.
